Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Scala Properties (the "Platform") operated by Scala, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Who can use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding contract under Indian law to register an account, post a listing, or transact through Scala Properties.

3. Listings and content

Owners, builders and agents are solely responsible for the accuracy of the listings, photos, prices and ownership claims they post. By submitting content, you grant Scala a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute and promote it on the Platform and in connected marketing channels.

We reserve the right to edit, reject or remove any listing that we believe is misleading, duplicate, fraudulent, or in violation of applicable law (including RERA).

4. No brokerage on owner listings

Scala does not charge brokerage on owner-direct rentals or sales. Builder-driven projects may carry channel-partner fees, which will be disclosed before any transaction is confirmed.

5. Prohibited use

You agree not to: (a) post false, misleading or unlawful content; (b) scrape, copy or republish listings without consent; (c) impersonate another person or entity; (d) interfere with the Platform's normal operation; (e) use the Platform to solicit competing services.

6. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is". While we verify listings on a best-effort basis, Scala does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or availability of any property. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence — including title, RERA, occupancy and legal checks — before paying any token or advance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scala and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any transaction initiated through it.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these terms or suspected abuse, with or without prior notice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
